  • Indulge in an afternoon of hats, heritage, style and afternoon tea!

    To begin your Ready-to-Wear (RTW) Customer Experience, your own personal stylist will welcome you to your private section of the shop, where you will be met with champagne and introduced to one of our hatters who will give you a guided-tour of our seventeenth century townhouse and heritage room.

    After the tour, your personal stylist will consult with you to advise on suitable RTW styles, trends, colours and etiquette for events. With six hats from your chosen season, plus a selection of beautiful ribbons and trims, you will be able to create a hat that is unique to you (you will also be able to name your hat, should you wish).

    When your design is complete, you will be shown the workroom and introduced to our milliners, who will be making your hat for you whilst we whisk you away to The Sheraton Grand Park Lane hotel for our famous Lock & Co. afternoon tea. Here, sandwiches, scones and handmade, hat-shaped cakes will be served in our hat boxes, with free-flowing tea and a glass of Chapel Down sparkling wine.

    After you have indulged your taste-buds, you will return to Lock for your final adjustments fitting, where you will be presented with your exclusive and bespoke hat along with a signed certificate of provenance – all packaged beautifully in your own Lock hat box.

    The whole experience starts at midday and will last approximately 4-5 hours, for one participant and one guest.
