Other than the average fedora, trilby or panama, hats like the homburg are hard to find in The Netherlands. Hatshops for men are very rare, let alone traditional hatters. Dutch hatshops online are mostly very disapointing. That is why I visited the website of Lock & co. and ordered this magnificent hat there.

And a magnificent hat it is. It is a homburg like a homburg should be: stately but not too formal. Impressive but elegant. An ideal hat when a hat is required but the occasion requires more then the Borsalino I normally wear. Looks also very nice on occasions where black tie is required.

Lock's homburg hat wears light and is perfectly detailled. It was send to me in a sturdy cardboard box so it arrived in pristine order. I love it.
